Spring

skies during that time. I've seen signs of spring, like the tulips next to our house sprouting and budding. Maybe?
This is one of my favorite tulip pictures. While I couldn't get out to shoot pictures I bought tulips (this one is a grow kit from Costco) and set them in my home studio and started taking pictures. Lots of pictures because there were lots of tulips and lots of color...and a lot of gray skies.
Our house remodel continues after leaving off in December. We are getting new siding installed beginning Monday. The past two days I've been ripping the old siding off and cleaning up the mess. The siding contractor was by today to look at the condition of the walls and knows there are some 'problem areas'. He's very positive and says "We can do this!" Tommorow I have one more area left to peel. The front porch. It will be very satisfying having all the outside work finished.
Two of the AzureVisions dancers visited today and left me with a 'thank-you' gift certificate to Reds, Wines and Blues. They wanted to give me more, they said, however, their concert didn't do as well as expected. I told them I wasn't in it for the money...and I'm not. I appreciate the fact that they allowed me to shoot pictures of them while they rehearse. Watching them move about the dance floor to music is breath-taking and hypnotic at the same time. One of life's pleasures.
